J.F Barber, a tattoo artist and supplier from the early 1900s. He was the first tattoo artist to set up a supply shop in Cincinnati and advertised himself as “Professor J.F. Barber,” for  his promotional talents and artistic skills. His well-known Star machine was made of one piece strong grille steel and strong electromagnets. Due the ''smooth'' vibrations this strong machine could also be used for the finest work. Also, the spring is equipped with special contact point to provide a smooth flow of energy during its duty cycle.
